One-off credit packs
Free users can add 250 recommendation credits for US $5, UK £4, or EU €5. It’s a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and can be bought again whenever the balance runs low. Plus users do not need credit packs because their recommendations are unlimited.

What about hidden costs
No ads and no data sales. The paid choices are a one-off credit pack for Free users or the optional Plus subscription. The free tier doesn’t expire or get hobbled over time.
The longer-term plan is to make everything free, funded by affiliate book purchases through Bookshop.org and Amazon. If that funding model lands, the Plus tier goes away entirely. Today it’s a safeguard against runaway AI inference costs while the affiliate revenue ramps up.
